We definitely agree that upper and lower motor neuron involvement can be a presenting feature of Allgrove's syndrome. We had evaluated for the possible Allgrove's syndrome. Our patient had only achalasia and amyotrophy. There was no alacrimia, adrenal insufficiency or autonomic dysfunction. Genetic analysis for Allgrove's syndrome is not available for confirmation.
