 Qutab Minar at Night

[INLINE:1]

1ST Photograph shows beautiful evening over the Qutub Minar Complex Delhi skies has a tendency be awesome sometimes in winters and I waited for the sun to set seeing the clouds. In Photography world we call such sunsets as 'Epic Sunsets.

I wanted to remove unnecessary clutter of buildings around Qutub Minar which was done in photoshop. I also wanted to show a wide-angle perspective (Key stoning) to show entire imposing building as a “Toy Block”.

2nd photograph is a composite of my two images. To be able to picture on Tripod, you need special permissions from ASI which I did not possess, I wanted to take a Night shot of Qutub with star trails, but light pollution of Delhi may not allow that to happen. Hence, I used my start trail image taken in a dark reserve and recomposed the Qutub Minar complex in Photoshop.

I think I was able to create a realistic sense of what I have always imagined of this place.
