There was a comminuted fracture of L4 vertebral body on CT (a) that showed hypointense signal on T1 (b) and was hyperintense on STIR (d). There was enhancement on post-contrast T1 (c). Bone biopsy and histopathology revealed the diagnosis of TB. (B) 36-year-old female presented with low backache with on and off fever for 6 months; history of trauma 2 years ago. There was a burst fracture of L4 vertebral body on CT (a) that showed hypointense signal on T1 (b) and was hyperintense on STIR (c). There was also enhancement noted on postcontrast T1 (d). Bone biopsy and histopathology revealed the diagnosis of TB within the burst fracture
