Figure 5: 53-year-old female presented with history of weakness in both lower limbs for 20 days, preceded by fever. MRI showed vertebra plana deformity of D5 vertebra with altered signal intensity on T1, T2 W images (a and b). There was enhancement of D4, D5, and D6 vertebra and posterior elements on post contrast T1 (c). CT spine (d) showed destruction of D4-D6 vertebra. On axial post contrast T1 (f), there was an enhancing soft tissue lesion in the head of the right fifth rib (arrow in f). There was sparing of intervertebral discs. CT (e) demonstrated a soft tissue density mass with spiculated margins (arrow in e) in the left upper lung. Bone biopsy and histopathology confirmed metastasis from adenocarcinoma of the lung
